This is a cast of a Dove's Skull; an exact replica of the original, produced from recycled 925 sterling silver, using the age old technique of lost wax casting. There's a bizarre story behind the Dove and the Hawk. Both bird's were found dead next to each other in a friend's garden; obviously a fight had ensued but the gentle Dove managed to kill his much stronger counterpart the Hawk before falling victim to injury. It was a surreal scene. All the bones used in the casting are quite beautiful; the Dove a symbol of love, peace and as messengers, along with it's religious symbolism.
