This piece was inspired by the moss and lichen attaching itself to the granite stone so evident in my surroundings, both on Bodmin moor and in towns throughout Cornwall. It is an uncomplicated, casual piece that's great as a jewellery staple or for a subtle look on an evening out. It can also be worn as a ring, without the chain. It was produced using the Sand Casting method with a wax mould I formed by hand. It is made from 925 recycled Sterling Silver and is hallmarked. The diameter of the pendant is 2.5cm (1") and comes on an 18" 1.7mm Belcher chain. The ring size is L. Overall it is 13g in weight. As with all my pieces, they will not be highly polished and the silver will tarnish over time, but in my view this is a bonus.

With most of my pieces I do not aim to produce highly polished creations. The Silver will tarnish over time, but if this is not a look you like there is lots of information available on 'at home' methods for cleaning, much of which can be found in your kitchen cupboards, or alternatively a ready made solution can be purchased.
