This is a cast of a Crow's Femur; an exact replica of the original, produced from recycled 925 sterling silver, using the age old technique of lost wax casting. If you're after a typical looking bone then this has to be it. The Crow is seen by some as a symbol of transformation and change, whilst others see them as symbols of creation and spiritual strength. Although the femur perhaps lacks the detail of some of the other bones it is by no means dull. It is a Chameleon of bones, understated and humble yet out there too! It looks great on a leather thong as well as a chain. It is hallmarked and measures 5.2cm x 0.85cm. It has been hand finished in my studio and comes with a 16", 1.7mm Silver Belcher chain. or on a 21", 5mm braided black leather cord.
