I enjoy the freedom collage gives me; there are no restraints. These works indulge my intuitive mind but also the strength of the original concept. The juxtaposition of elements within the pieces must allow the composition to flow, and sit right with me, and hopefully the viewer. The final stages in my work of this nature will always be the mark-making, taking it from a work in progress to the finished article.
